Aubrey + Kurt

Last weekend I got to spend the afternoon with an very awesome couple, Aubrey and Kurt. We spent a few hours at the amazing Broadmoor and had a blast! Typically when I set up a photo shoot with a couple, we discuss what to wear and what not wear... although I realized the day of, I hadn't mentioned anything to them. I decided not to worry about it and just go to the shoot.

As soon as they got out of their car, I was thrilled I kept my mouth shut! This couple is SO stylin' they didn't need any help from me. Aubrey looked so cute and I'm sure she's going to be absolutely stunning on her wedding day and Kurt is such a classy guy as you'll see in the photos below. They are so stinkin' cute together!

We found this hall full of old bottles of wine... (I LOVE wine)... and we just had to stop and check it out. It actually worked into the shoot nicely and made for a cute photo!

They even had time to practice a few steps before their big day!

Of course the "B" above the doorway wasn't for the Broadmoor , it was for the couples soon to be last name "Brown"!

Kurt and Aubrey... you guys are such a fun couple and we really enjoyed spending time with you! I am so thankful I ran into you Aubrey a few months back as it's been great getting to know you. I hope the final pieces of your wedding planning goes smoothly! You two deserve only the best.

Sara + Fernando = married

Las Vegas, Nevada - When Sara contacted me a few months ago about doing her wedding, I was excited. Not because I would be going to be back in my home town for it, but actually it was after I went to their wedding website and read about who they were and how they met that I was super excited to meet them. He proposed underwater while scuba diving. How cool and romantic is that?!! It gets better. When I met them on the night of the rehearsal, she told me that her mom made her dress and her veil... wow! Needless to say, the bride looked amazing and both Sara and Fernando had the best smiles through out the entire day.

They had their wedding at a Catholic church on the strip that had amazing stained glass windows and artwork. Their reception was held at the Bellagio and was SO beautiful! The cake (made by Jean Philippe Patisserie which is located in the Bellagio) was stunning. Whomever says Las Vegas only has cheesy weddings needs a reality check!

Here are a few of my favorites:

Fernando and Sara; Thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day! It was so beautiful and you both opened your arms and made me feel so welcome! You have a very special relationship and you can tell that so many people around you love and care for you; most flew all this way to see you get married! That says a lot about who you are! The only thing I regret is living so far away from you both; I'm sure we would be good friends. I hope you're having a blast in Hawaii and you better call me in a couple of years when it's time to do newborn photos! Cheers! :)
