Shannon!

You remember Shannon from last month. I met her in June to do head shots for her new website but due to the weather, we did them indoors. Last night we went to Garden of the Gods and had some fun! The bad weather held off while we were out and it was beautiful there (more so than normal) since it had just rained and the red in the rocks really stood out. I heart Colorado.

Hellloooooo Edi!

Please give a warm welcome to my new assistant, Edi! She's my assistant during weddings and helps out with everything from crowd control, hair arranger during poses, big thinker, my right hand... but above all she's my new friend. We went out for a 'fun' shoot and coffee (of course!) around town this evening and had a blast.

Jade + Vaughn = Married

Denver, CO- Jade and Vaughn have such a deep love for one another. That was apparent at this past Sunday’s wedding. Jade has such a fun, very loving personality. I love her honesty as well as her ability to bring laughter to every moment. Vaughn is such an awesome guy who makes Jade smile. He loved her for such a long time (they met when they were 14!) and now they are married. I love it!

They were married at the Wellshire Inn in Denver and it was so beautiful. Everything from the staff at the Inn to the finishing touches was perfect.

This is my favorite ring shot yet. They both love cats so I thought it was fitting.








Jade and Vaughn, I don't even know where to begin. You both are great together and I am so happy for you! You have a wonderful, supportive family and friends who are cheering you on the whole way. Jade, you got your wish for rain and I got my wish for a little sun. It couldn't have been a more perfect day.

It was such a pleasure to be involved. I wish you both the very best and I hope our paths cross again in the future; I would only be so blessed. Thank you for including me!

The Measmer Family

Colorado Springs, CO - Here's another family that's near and dear to my heart. We met them when we first came to town and love them so much! Bek and Rich, I hope you know how much your family means to our family.

These photos were taken at Fox Run Park; another cool spot in the NE part of Colorado Springs. The Measmers also brought along their dog Samwise Gamgee, which in my opinion is one of the best names for a dog. Ever. But honestly, he was racing around so fast and interested in so many things going on around him, I didn't get much of a good shot of him. You'd see a white streak running by and that was him. Anyway, without further ado... the Measmers!

I adore this photo and the way she's looking at him. The way a mother loves her child is nothing short of amazing.

Don't let this photo fool you. He may be picking flowers, but Zachary is a man's man.

This girl can sing any princess Disney song better than anyone I know! So cute!
