Steve+Jenessa=Married

Colorado Springs, CO - How do I even begin to describe a couple like Steve and Jenessa? A couple who compliments one another so well! Where he leaves off, she begins. Where she leaves off, he picks up. And that's how it should be! Steve and Jenessa, you are amazing and I am so thankful and honored to have been a part of your day. Your families loves you both so much and it was great to see everyone cheering you on. Here's some of my favorites from the day.

Her wedding dress was amazing and so was the church.

Jessica + Kim = Married

I'm so behind on blogging it's not even funny!

Last week I upgraded my computer for many reasons, the biggest one being that I needed more space. Well, the new laptop went from good (it had a pink cover!) to bad (it didn't work) early last week so we spent all day backing everything up and talking to Dell for 10 hours... yeah. No fun! So, I'm behind on blogging this amazing wedding from the Saturday before last as well as a wedding from last Saturday and a family shoot. The good news is, the computer is fixed so now life can move on.

Colorado Springs, CO - Jessica and Kim had their ceremony at the Three Graces at Garden of the God's. Perfect fall weather! They are a great couple who not only compliment one another so well, but they have an amazingly supportive family who were incredibly kind and made me feel so welcome during my day with them.

A little getting ready shots:

This locket was passed down in the family and has been in three weddings.

The moment when he first saw his daughter prior to the ceremony. It was a great moment. He was so proud of her... she cried. I cried. Thank goodness for auto focus. :)

The fantastic getaway car.

I had to sneak a shot with the flowers on the front of the snazzy car when the driver wasn't looking. I hope he didn't mind. :)

The guys at Sensational Sounds were off the hook! They pulled everyone on the dance floor and it was hoppin'!

D+K+T+T+T

I love it when my clients see the location of a previous shoot and want their photos taken there as well. That being the case, I've been spending a few days on the train tracks. :) This family is great. They are spunky and full of life and they are always laughing! We'd been trying to take these photos for a few weeks, but things kept coming up with the kids so we kept pushing it back. She was thrilled to finally get them done with nothing happening out of the ordinary and it even happened to be a perfect day. A day or two later she sent me an email saying how thankful she was we got them taken when we did because her youngest daughter got a hold of an eletric shaver and shaved a large stripe down the middle of her hair... yeah, I know. I feel her pain.

Nonetheless, they are still a beautiful family!

Karl loves Amy

You might remember this couple from here. Not only do I love them because they let me pick the locations for their shoots no matter how off the wall they are, but they also are our friends that we followed here from Las Vegas last January. I mean seriously, they even came back to Las Vegas just to help us drive the 13 hours in -3 degree weather, snow and ice just to help us move. Can't ask for a better friends than that!

And guess what! They recently welcomed a new addition to their family!

Meet Hurley...

We took Hurley out to the park in the morning (38 degrees! Brr!) then brought him back home before we headed out to a few other locations.

I'm sorry you guys are so good looking. :)

You guys are the best. Love ya! : )

Julie + Jeremy

I love doing engagement photos. It give me a chance to get to know the couple before the wedding and it gives them a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and also with the way I shoot. I really enjoyed hanging out with Julie and Jeremy at The Broadmoor this evening and am looking forward to their wedding this February! Here are just a few of my favorites from this evening that I have edited.
